Please remember that as part of the switch we will sell the requested amount in your Unit Trust and purchase the same amount into your ISA. We don't charge for this and the same amount of units will be purchased as sold. But this action could result in a chargeable gain and we recommend that you discuss this with your tax adviser / specialist before requesting the switch.
If you haven't contributed to an ISA with RLUM Ltd in either the current or previous tax year, you will need to complete an application form.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I get help with my investments?
We're always here to help you manage your investment with us. If you need any help you can call us on 0345 605 7777.
If you need financial advice, you will need to speak to a financial adviser. You can find more information about financial advice by visiting our The Value of Financial Advice page.
Is my money safe?
Yes it is. We're covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. This scheme will protect its investors if a financial services company becomes insolvent and can't meet its obligations to you. The scheme covers up to £50,000 per person, per organisation for unit trust investments.
You can find more information on the FSCS website.
How can I find out how my investment is performing?
You can find out how your investment is doing by taking a look at the latest fund performance factsheets.
Remember that this is an illustration only and for an accurate value you'll need to call us on 0345 605 7777.
You can also check the daily unit price in our price information on our RLUM Funds page.
You can also call us for a valuation on 0345 605 7777.
Who should I make my cheque payable to?
You should make your cheque payable to RLUM Ltd. Remember to sign your cheque. Unfortunately, we cannot accept post-dated cheques.
Can I change my mind after I invest?
Yes. When you invest in one of our funds, there is a 30 day 'cooling off' period. This gives you more time to think about the investment you have made with us.
But if you invest a lump sum and the unit price of your chosen fund(s) falls between this time, you won't get back the full amount of your investment. This is because we'll adjust the investment for that fall in value.
How many fund managers are there per fund?
There is a lead fund manager for each fund, with the exception of the European Growth Trust where there are co-managers.
These managers are supported by a wider team of fund managers, analysts and responsible investing team.
How often are distributions paid for each of the funds?
The funds pay distributions at the following frequencies:
- Sustainable Diversified Trust – quarterly
Sustainable World Trust – half-yearly
Sustainable Leaders Trust – half-yearly
Corporate Bond Monthly Income Trust – monthly
UK Growth Trust – half-yearly
UK Income with Growth Trust – quarterly
European Growth Trust – half-yearly
US Growth Trust – distributions not normally paid
