Who is this service for?

Our Guidance Service is available to our existing customers who may be struggling due to a change of personal circumstances and may not be aware of the help that could be available to them in the U.K.

Please be aware that this is not a service to provide you with financial advice about your existing investments or pensions.  Royal London does not offer financial advice so if you are looking for help with that and you don’t already have a financial adviser, there are a number of directories that you can use to search for one in your area and according to their specialisms. Advisers may charge for their services - though they should agree any fees with you upfront.

What does the Guidance Service offer?

The service is completely free and confidential and whilst we can’t give you financial advice or make recommendations about what you should do, we can highlight the many free-to-use organisations and charities in the UK, set up to help you access their support and make decisions for yourself.  We can also provide you with our handy ‘Money Guides’ that cover a variety of topics that you may find useful depending on your circumstances.

Hundreds of our customers have already benefitted from using our service and we’re guiding them to find help and support for a wide range of reasons such as navigating state benefits to managing debt, or budgeting personal finances.  We have also supported customers who are struggling with the cost of living, or because of a change in employment status, as well as those who are dealing with a bereavement, divorce, illness or caring for a loved one.
