If we hold your name incorrectly due to a spelling error or any other inaccuracy, please upload one of the documents from the following list; Passport, Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, Firearms Licence, Arms Forces card or an Identity card issued by the electoral office for Northern Ireland.

3. Declaration

  • I confirm that the information about me on the “Personal details and declaration confirmation statement” is either correct and complete, or where not correct and complete I have amended it in this online form to be correct and complete.
  • I understand and confirm that the total pension contributions I make to all registered pension schemes (including those not with Royal London) in any tax year will not be more than 100% of my relevant UK earnings for the relevant tax year or £3,600 if greater.
  • Where I am making regular or single contributions, I confirm that I am entitled to tax relief, under sections 188 and 189 of the Finance Act 2004, because I am under the age of 75 and one or more of the following applies:
    • I am or have been resident in the UK in the current tax year, or
      I have been resident in the UK in the previous five tax years and was a UK resident when I first joined the pension scheme, or
    • I have relevant UK earnings chargeable to income tax in the UK in the tax year, or
    • I am a crown servant or a husband, wife or civil partner of a crown servant with general earnings from overseas Crown employment subject to UK tax
  • I confirm that if an event occurs which results in me no longer being entitled to tax relief on my contributions I will tell Royal London by the later of:
    • 5 April in the tax year I am no longer entitled to tax relief
    • 30 days after the date that I am no longer entitled to tax relief
