When will I become eligible for my gift?

If you have bought a Royal London Over 50 Life Insurance policy directly, you may be eligible to receive a gift after you have made your 8th monthly payment (first policy only per person). You will have been aware of the gift amount and retailer at the time of purchase.

Eligibility

In order to receive your gift you must have taken out one of our eligible products and:

  • Made 8 monthly payments
  • Provided us with your gift choice selection (where applicable)

Please note if you have purchased your plan via one of our partners, you may not be entitled to the gift and their terms and conditions will apply. It will also be their responsibility to communicate these with you at the time of purchase.

When will I receive my gift?

When you receive your gift depends on whether or not you gave us your email address at the time of purchase.

If you provided your email address, we’ll send you an email within 9 days after you’ve made 8 monthly payments. This will include instructions on how to select and redeem your gift online, which will either be provided to you as an e-gift code or, if you selected cash, will be posted to you via cheque. You'll typically receive this in the post within 3 weeks of making your 8th monthly payment.

What should I do if I didn’t provide my email address?

If you didn't provide your email address at the time of purchase but you did make your gift choice, we will simply post your chosen gift out to you, after you have made your 8th monthly payment. You'll typically receive your gift card in the post within 4-5 weeks, or your cash via a cheque within 3 weeks.

If you did not provide your email address or make your gift choice at the time of purchase, you can still receive your gift as long as you've let us know your choice before your 8th monthly payment. Once you've made your choice and your 8th monthly payment, your gift should then arrive 3-5 weeks later in the post.

If you haven't given us an email address, but would prefer to receive your gift via an email with a  unique e-gift code just give us a call on 0345 600 7788 before you have made your 8th monthly payment.
