Your ISA transfer questions answered
Do I have to transfer all my ISA savings?
You can move as much money as you like, but if you only want to transfer part of your ISA savings, you can do this by requesting a partial transfer. If you're doing this please check with your current provider to confirm they allow partial transfers.
If you are transferring ISA contributions made during the current tax year, the full amount must be transferred. Once you've confirmed with us how much you'd like to transfer, we'll arrange this with your provider.
How long does it take to transfer?
It typically takes up to 4 weeks for a transfer to be completed. Depending on your provider and the type of ISA you’re transferring, it might take longer.
When can I make an ISA transfer?
You can request to transfer an ISA when you apply. You can also transfer an ISA after you’ve opened it with us and the quickest way to do this is by logging into your online account. You can also complete and return our Transfer Authority Form.
