To make this easier, you can upload scanned images or pictures of the documents you have taken using your mobile phone.

How to Upload Multiple Documents

You can upload more than one document in each upload box. To do this:

  1. Click “Choose a file”.
  2. A window will open showing your files or photos.
  3. To select multiple files:
On a computer: click the first file, then hold the Ctrl key (or Cmd on Mac) and click the others.
On a mobile device: press and hold the first file, then tap others to select more.
  4. Once all files are selected, tap “Open” or “Select”.

The uploaded file must represent an image of an original certified copy (or extract in Scotland) Death Certificate/document issued from a registry office and can’t be from a reproduced copy. Overseas Death Certificates are acceptable along with Welsh Death Certificates, but we must see both sides of the document to be able to move forward with the claim, due to the important information held on both sides.
We’ll need to see a copy of the full last signed will.
If either of these documents have been issued you must upload them.
