Utano’s mission is to reduce digital poverty and help close the gap of digital illiteracy amongst people from disadvantaged backgrounds, breaking down the barriers to racial inequality.
They work to open up social enhancement opportunities for the people they work with - promoting skills equality, supporting the underprivileged and unemployed by building pathways to success through digital empowerment. This helps equip beneficiaries with the tools to secure better-paying jobs or engage in entrepreneurial activities, thereby building financial resilience at the individual and community levels.

I launched the Utano Foundation to address the critical issue of digital exclusion, which limits people's ability to fully participate in society. I have always felt a passion and purpose in giving back to the local community through charitable means.
I'm thrilled to join Changemakers and use this opportunity to expand our digital inclusion efforts, with the goal of providing greater access to technology, job market opportunities and digital services to underrepresented groups.
