We have lots of great work experience placements available for our members and their families through our Insight into Work programme.

Opportunities are available in various teams throughout Royal London, and each placement will have its own duration and availability date.

How we use your personal data

Your personal data in this form will be processed by Royal London Mutual Insurance Society and its subsidiaries in accordance with the Data Protection Laws. This data will be used for the purpose of recruitment for a specified position within Royal London Group or other similar positions that we consider may be suitable for you.

Royal London needs to keep and process information about you for normal employment purposes. The information we hold and process will be used for our management and administrative use only. We’ll keep and use it to enable us to run the business and manage our relationship with you effectively, lawfully and appropriately, during the recruitment process, whilst you’re working for us, at the time when your employment ends and after you have left. In some cases, we need to process data to ensure that we’re complying with our legal obligations. For example, we’re required to check an employee's entitlement to work in the UK, to deduct tax, to comply with health and safety laws and to enable employees to take periods of leave to which they are entitled.

In the event that your application is unsuccessful the personal data you provide will be destroyed after 6 months. Otherwise, your personal data will be retained on record for the duration of your employment and for a reasonable time afterwards in line with our retention policy.
