Commenting on the Financial Reporting Council’s revised UK Stewardship Code, Ashley Hamilton Claxton, head of responsible investment at Royal London Asset Management, said:

“We are pleased the Stewardship Code has been expanded to other asset classes. We have long been advocates of good stewardship, engagement and ESG integration in our fixed income funds, so this is a welcome development.”
