Commenting on today’s UK Labour Market statistics, Helen Morrissey, pension specialist at Royal London, said:

“Today’s data shows women continue to close the employment gap with men at an astonishing rate with 3.2 women becoming employed for every man in the year to October 2019. It is vital that we grasp this opportunity to also close the gender pensions gap by communicating the importance of saving into a pension over the long term. If we have more women working we can get more women saving into a pension and building a firm financial future.”
