Your development plan
We take the development of our people seriously. From the first day we aim to provide you with a clear development plan to guide you from key aspects of financial services regulation right through your induction phase.
When you join your business unit you will also be given guidance and support to learn about the products, services, systems and procedures that will be an integral part of your work. Your line manager, buddy or colleagues are all available to help you settle in to your new role.
At regular intervals throughout the year you’ll have a chance to review performance and progress and plan the next stages of your development. We’ll look at ways to build and enhance your personal, technical and managerial skills through in-role development, self study and formal training events.
Once you are established in your role you will also have the opportunity to look at longer term professional development. We have a well-defined qualification policy to help you study for the exams that will help you develop your career.
